Article marketing is commonly the primary marketing arm of most webmasters today. Why? It's because it delivers great results, it's easy to use, and it's free. Today, it is considered the easiest way to create inbound links for your website that can lead to improved traffic and higher page ranking.

Here are the 3 ultimate steps to make money through article marketing:

1. Write more. If you want online users to consider you as an expert on your chosen niche, you have to make them feel that you have so much valuable information to share. You can do that by writing numerous articles. Explore all the topics that play crucial roles in your target niche and those which interest your potential clients and write about them. Running out of great topic ideas? Visit forums that are frequented by your target market or access leading article submission sites. These are gold mines in niche-related topics that you can use when writing your articles.

2. Stick with short articles. As you know, the audience you are serving have limited attention span and have little time to spare when surfing the net for valuable information. Based on research, people online appreciate getting the information they need upfront and prefer short, direct to the point articles. Increase the chances of your articles being read by keeping their word count to 300-500. It would also help if you can make them scannable so your readers can easily skim through your content.

3. Do your research. Your main objective in writing your articles is to inform your audience or equip them with valuable knowledge that can help them in improving the quality of their lives or resolving their pressing issues. Thus, it is of outmost importance that everything you put on your content are fact-based and credible to avoid misleading your readers.

One of the most popular movies circulating around in everyone's living room these days is The Secret. Everyone in every profession is watching this movie and wondering, Can the Law of Attraction really work for me?

If you are a real estate agent, this article will describe how I have used the law of attraction in coaching real estate agents to double and triple their incomes in the last 10 years.

I will describe why it works in some cases.

Why it doesn't in other cases.

I was skeptical at first

Were you skeptical when you first heard about the Law of Attraction? Even after watching The Secret were you still skeptical?

I was first introduced to the Law of Attraction, about 10 years ago. I wanted to see if it would work for me before I introduced it to my clients.

When I added it to what I had already been using The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, I started to get immediate results as measured by increase of income, clients, and the lifestyle I desired. One of the biggest bonuses was that I was attracting the kind of clients I really wanted to work with, my Ideal Clients.

The time came to introduce it to my clients

After working with people for 30 years, 20 years as a psychologist, and 10 years as a business coach, I knew better than to introduce it to everyone. As I suspected, certain people were open for it and others not.

For the ones who were eager to learn about the Law of Attraction, I introduced it into the business coaching, along with Stephen Covey's 7 Habits and creative marketing strategies, customized for my clients.

The results were mixed

For about half of my clients, the introduction of the Law of Attraction worked wonders. Their businesses skyrocketed. For the other half of my clients, there was no difference.

Trained in psychology, I started to delve down, to find out why this was so. What I found out quickly was that the ones who benefited from the Law of Attraction, had already cleared their self limiting beliefs, either with me or before.

The ones upon whom the Law of Attraction had no effect, were still carrying self limiting beliefs, like:

I don't deserve to be successful,

I don't have what it takes to succeed,

Marketing is not for me,

There is never enough money to go around,

Real estate is too competitive for me.

Amazingly enough, once I coached them in how to release the self limiting beliefs and install and Empowered beliefs, like:

I deserve to be successful,

I have what it takes to succeed,

I'm good at marketing myself,

There is plenty of money to go around,

I think in a co-- operative way, rather than a competitive way.

then the law of attraction, worked like a charm.

What about today's market?

In today's market, more than any other time, the Law of Attraction should be in the toolkit of every successful realtor.

Why?

In today's market, we are bombarded with news from the media and other sources, all giving out negative messages. While at the same time the experts are predicting that the real estate market is strong and getting stronger. So are you going to look at the cup half-empty or half-full?

Did you know that successful real estate agents succeed in any market?

It's because of their mindset. While other people are listening to the news and getting caught up in a scarcity mindset, and focusing on what they don't want, successful real estate agents are looking at the possibilities and focusing on what they do want.

In a sense, successful real estate agents already practice the Law of Attraction.

In today's market, what are some simple steps you can follow?

Based on my experience of having seen how the law of attraction can turn a business around through the power of a positive mindset, I would suggest practicing the simple principles of the Law of Attraction.

Get clear on what you don't want and write it in one column.

Get clear on what you do want and write in the second column.

Visualize having what you want in vivid detail, while at the same time, feeling what it feels like to have what you want.

Clear all of your opposing self limiting beliefs.

Take inspired action, release all doubts, and allow yourself to become magnetic for the clients, income, and lifestyle you want.

One of my favorite ways to drive traffic to my web site is through article marketing. What is article marketing? Article marketing is the process of writing articles about topics related to your web site niche ideas, adding links to your web site within the articles, and submitting them to the various online article directories for distribution online. One of the really nice things about article marketing traffic is that the leads generated are usually very high quality; another nice thing about article marketing is that there is generally no cost to submitting the articles to the article directories, so for all practical purposes, except for your time, article marketing is free to use to generate traffic.

So how do you do article marketing? Here is a step by step guide to article marketing:

1) Determine what types of ideas and topics are good for your web site? An easy way to do this is to write a list of ten things that people visiting your web site might be interested in. Once you have this list, write down 10 questions someone might have in reference to each of the first 10 things someone might be interested in. This will give you a total of 100 questions or ideas about which you can write.

2) Write 250-350 word articles about each of your ideas, questions, or topics, using the formula I am teaching in this article.

3) At the end of the article, you must have a call to action. Most article directories will call this your resource box, or your bio. I call it a call to action, because it must be more than a bio and a link. It must be a very specific directive that entices people to click the link and get to your web site. If they do not click the link in the article, your article has been basically unsuccessful, so you must learn to write a call to action.

The easiest way to write a call to action is to first create a free item or product that you can giveaway on your web site. Then tell the reader to click here to collect their giveaway. This will create just about the highest percentage of readers clicking through to your web site from your article and of course that is your primary goal when you are article marketing.

Article Marketing is the poor man's way to riches. With little or no money, you can drive a lot of traffic with article marketing. By writing a keyword, rich headlines, and body articles you can gain page ranking for your website or product. With high page ranking on the search pages, you will see more traffic on your websites. The same articles will be used for content on other websites which gives you back links and more traffic.
