This is a secret strategy that I use myself, and it has proven to be very successful. I call it the one week goal strategy of article marketing. It's easy to do, and it doesn't take up much time.

This article marketing strategy is used to get your articles up and onto the first page of Google in as little as a month or sometimes even less! With this strategy, you'll get tons of publicity for your website, more than 100!

So how do you do this one week goal strategy? You make a one week goal for writing articles. You set a number of articles that you want to make in one week and do it! I use the number 30, because it's a relatively small number for writing articles, and by the end of the month, I'd have at least 120 articles. But you don't have to do 30 articles a week if you don't want to, this is just me.

Set a goal for the week and stick to it. Don't make it too high by saying that you'll make 200 articles a week. That's too much! Just keep it low, somewhere around or below 50 is what I recommend, any higher and you just might quit! So set a number and stick to it. Sticking to it will be the hardest task. Just keep writing and don't stop, before you know it, you'll be busting out articles faster than you ever would!

So choose your one week goal, and then break it up even more. Let's say you want to make 30 articles a week, don't try to do them all in one day. You'll burn yourself out! Just take the number and split it up in even smaller portions. You'll be done in no time at all!

Do you rush through the process of submitting your articles to the article directories? Read on to discover the importance of carefully and strategically submitting your articles.

This is kind of like how my 13-year-old son does his homework. You try to get it done and over with so you can get on to the fun. Many people submit their articles that way.

Thats not the way to submit your article, rushing through it just to get it up. Yeah, youll get it up and yeah youll get it submitted, but you will not do it in a way that gets your article picked up more.

When you submit an article to EzineArticles or any other article directory, there are five fields that you are going to write in: keywords, title, article description, article body, and the article resource box.

Of those five fields, in each one of those fields Ive identified 7 different strategies, small nuances for each field, that help you get your articles picked up more.

For example, many people will just throw together a title and hope that does the trick. Wrong. If the title does not pull them in they are not going to be reading your great article. So here is just one of my formulas for a great title - Keywords - Benefits - Keywords. Use your keywords in the beginning of your title, make sure you make the benefit(s) clear, and then use your keywords again.

Rushing through this process is a huge mistake. Doing it carefully and doing it strategically will get your articles picked up far above those of your competition in your very own niche.

For the last two years, I've been the proud owner of a successful internet marketing website. Technically, it's an article directory, although I consider it much more than that.

But before I even built my website, I developed my USP in my mind.

What's a USP?

USP is an acronym of the model used to differentiate or distinguish yourself from your competitors:

U="Unique" S="Selling" P-"Proposition" (Unique Selling Proposition).

In other words, it's what makes my article directory different from the thousands of other article directories on the Internet.

So, what's my USP?

Interviews, quality articles and Internet Marketing experts.

I will only accept quality articles written by professional Internet Marketing experts. I have a "zero tolerance" policy for poorly written or garbage articles.

I simply will not feature garbage articles on my site.

So, how am I able to maintain such strict quality control?

Simple. I personally read every article that's submitted, before it's approved and released into the system.

Fortunately, my website attracts talented writers and experts, so I rarely have to reject anyone's articles.

I also feature interviews of the expert authors on my website. I interview internet marketing experts, as well as individuals who are on their way to becoming experts.

When I decided author interviews were going to be an important feature of my website, I also decided I was going to approach internet marketing superstars, regardless of how famous or successful they were. And that's exactly what I did.

So, how did I do?

Well, as you can imagine, I got shot down a lot! I got rejected over and over again by big name marketers.

Did all of those rejections discourage me at all?

No. In fact, it had the exact opposite effect. All of those rejections actually fueled my fire. I became even more determined to succeed. I wanted to show everyone who had rejected me that I intended to become a major player.

And then one day it happened. A big name marketer consented to an interview. And then another consented and another! And before I knew what was happening, I was on my way!

But something else happened too. Not only did a lot of big name Internet Marketing superstars consent to an interview, they also validated me and gave me sincere words of encouragement.

Q: I've heard you say on a teleseminar "Find what your market wants to know and how they want it delivered." My question is how do I do that, especially if I am on a shoe string budget?

Great question, and I've got great news. You do not have to spend much at all to find out what your list wants. In fact my favorite method is perfect for the shoe string budget.

Just 2 questions

There are two questions to ask the people on your list. You do not have to conduct some fancy kind of campaign in order to do this - all you need to do is ask in an email to the people on your list.

If you ask these two questions, and take action on the answers, you will set yourself apart from 90-95% of the marketers out there.

In an email to the people on your list, you want to ask:

1. What is your biggest challenge? What do you find the most difficult? What keeps you up at night? What is keeping you from achieving the success you desire?

These are all really the same question asked in different ways. Don't assume you know, ask.

Very few of the marketers on the internet, even if the ask the first question, ever ask the second question.

After you have the answer(s) to the first question, then ask:

2. How would you most like the information and solutions delivered to you?

Give them some options. If in text, do they want it in a traditional book, and ebook, an article, etc? If in audio, do they want it on a teleseminar, an audio CD, a downloadable mp3, etc?

You get the picture.

Answer and take action on the answers to these two questions and you will be on your way.
